Ghanaian central defender Steffen Nkansah has signed a new one-year deal with German Bundesliga 3 side Erzgebirge.
The contract of the gangling central defender was scheduled to expire in the summer of 2024 but he has appended his signature to a fresh deal which will take him up to June 30, 2025.
Nkansah, 26. joined Erzgebirge in July 2022 from Zwickau and has gone on to feature in 18 games scoring one goal.

He previously represented clubs including Monchengladbach and TSG Hoffenheim.
