Ghanaian defender Tariq Lamptey provided two assist in his team’s victory in the English Premier League on Saturday afternoon away from home.
The diminutive Ghanaian right-back provided the assists for Brighton and Hove Albion’s second and third goals in their 3-1 away over Manchester United FC at the Old Trafford.
He lasted 77 minutes on the field of play before he was taken off in a one sided game for the Seagulls.
Danny Welbeck scored the opening goal of the match to put the visitors 1-0 up after just 20 minutes of the match with Lamptey setting up Pascal Gross to make it 2-0 in the second half after 53 minutes.
Nineteen minutes to the end of the match, Lamptey set up Joao Pedro to score the third goal to make it two assists with the Blue and Whites leading 3-0 after 71 minutes.
Hannibal Mejbri came from the bench to score a consolation goal for the home team team as it ended 3-1 to the visitors.
