Ghana duo, Gideon Mensah and Abdul Mumin maintained their impressive form when Vitoria Guimaraes defeated Boavista on Friday night in the Portuguese league.
The pair lasted the full 90 minutes of the game as The Conquerors secured a 2-1 win at the Estadio D Afonso Henriques over Boavista.
The win is Victoria Guimaraes’ first in the last six games, having lost to Rio Ave and Pacos Ferreira and with draws against SAD, Benfica and Ferrense.
Ricardo Mangas gave Boavista a 17th-minute lead But Rochina equalised with five minutes to the break before Andre Andre struck in the second half to seal the victory for the hosts.

Mensah was again at his quality best at the left-back, partnering well in defence with compatriot Abdul Mumin Suleman.
Mumin was also solid in central defense for the home side as they picked all three points on the night.
The win has sent to the 6th position with 35 points.
