Belgian giants Anderlecht are reportedly keeping close tabs on Beres Owusu, the 22-year-old centre-back currently plying his trade at Grazer AK in Austria.
The French-born defender, who is also eligible to represent Ghana at international level, has drawn attention this season for his defensive composure, aerial strength, and calmness on the ball, attributes that have made him one of Grazer AK’s standout performers.
According to sources, Royal Antwerp and several other foreign clubs are also monitoring Owusu’s progress, highlighting a growing interest in the young defender across Europe.
Owusu has been a regular starter this season, making 16 appearances and finding the back of the net once, underlining his ability to contribute at both ends of the pitch. His consistency and versatility have made him a player in demand, with scouts praising his tactical awareness and maturity beyond his years.
With a winter transfer window approaching, clubs like Anderlecht could move quickly to secure Owusu’s services, seeing him as a potential long-term addition to their defensive ranks.
For Owusu, a move to Belgium or another top European league would not only accelerate his club career but also put him firmly in the spotlight for potential senior Ghana Black Stars selection in the future.
