Ghana international. Abdul Aziz Yakubu, was on target once again for Rio Ave on Sunday in the Primeira Liga.
Rio Ave hosted Sporting Braga in their sixth game of the 2022/23 season.
The Ghanaian, who was making his sixth start of the season, was on target and assisted Emmanuel Boateng. However, his team ended up on the losing side.
After 69 minutes played, Rio Ave were trailing by three goals to nil after Mutassim Al Musrati, Iuri Medeiros and Ricardo Horta had all scored for the away side.
In the 81st minute of the game, Aziz assisted Boateng for his first goal for the club since making the return this summer.
Six minutes later, Aziz was on the scoresheet as he grabbed his fourth goal of the season in the top flight.
The game ended 3-2 in favour of Braga.
Aziz has now been involved in six goals in six leagues for Rio Ave this season.
