Ghanaian forward Abdul-Aziz Yakubu scored again for Wuhan Three Towns FC in the Chinese Super League on Sunday at home to Nantong Zhiyun FC.
The attacker got his side’s third goal in their 4-2 victory to move fifth on the league table with 39 points from 24 matches.
He pplayed more than an hour of football for the Blue and Whites outfit before he was substituted and replaced by Marcao on the 63rd minute mark of the match.
David Puclin scored the opening goal of the match to put the visitors 1-0 up but Davidson scored two quick goals in the 18th minute and 32nd minute to turn it around.
Four minutes later,Abdul-Aziz Yakubu made it 3-1 to the home team before the end of the entertaining first 45 minutes of the match.
Puclin scored again for the away team but Marcao restored the two goal lead for Wuhan Three Towns who won 4-2.
The 24-year-old Ghanaian forward has 12 goals in 17 matches for the club in the ongoing 2023 Chinese Super League.
