Ghanaian youngster Arvin Appiah came off the bench to register an assist for Rotherham United in their defeat to Bristol City on Wednesday night.
The 22-year-old came on for the last 10 minutes of the game at home and looked certain to turn the tie for Rotherham as he provided Tyler Blackett with the assist for the game’s equaliser six minutes after his introduction.
This was after Tommy Conway had given the away side the lead in the 81st minute of the encounter.
Rotherham looked certain to get at least a point from the game but Conway struck again late in additional time to restore the lead for Bristol and hand them all three points.
The result means Rotherham are winless in their last five games in the Championships and have only one draw during that period with the rest being losses.
Appiah is yet to start a game for the club since joining them on loan from Spanish side UD Almeria.
