Ghanaian attacker Arvin Appiah has joined Spanish second tier league side Malaga CF on loan, Sportsworldghana.com can confirm.
Due to lack of playing time at his parent club, UD Almería, the young attacker has been shipped out for more playing time opportunities.
The pacey winger has extensive experience in LaL Liga SmartBank despite his young age. Unbalancing, with a great ability for dribbling and outside play, he is a very interesting resource in attacking transitions, providing depth and breadth to the game.
The young winger arrives at the Blue and Whites on loan from UD Almería. The player, who will soon join Pepe Mel’s team signed a contract until the end of the season.
Arvin arrived in Almería from English outfit Nottingham Forest in the 19/20 season at just 18 years of age. During his first year with the Red and Whites he played 21 LaLiga SmartBank matches.
The following season, 20/21, he was loaned out to CD Lugo during the winter transfer window, where he took part in another 13 official matches.
The 21/22 season was, without doubt, the most significant for Appiah, since he participated with UD Almería in 32 LaLiga SmartBank games, being an important part of a project that finally led to the long-awaited promotion to LaLiga Santander.
Appiah played the first round of this season’s competition with CD Tenerife on loan from UD Almería.
Following the termination of the agreement, Málaga CF took over his services from him on loan until the end of the season.
