Ghanaian forward Bernard Tekpetey has won the 2023 Bulgaria Cup against CSKA 1948 on Wednesday evening after a comfortable win.

The former Schalke 04 man played as a left-wing back for the Green and Whites Eagles in their 3-1 win against the Red and Whites outfit.

Caio Vidal, a Brazilian international opened the scoring in the first half after just eight minutes with a beautiful strike to give the record champions the lead.

Two minutes to the end of the first 45 minutes of the match, Caio scored again to make it 2-0 before the halftime whistle.

Ivailo Chochev grabbed a consolation for the Red and Whites outfit 14 minutes into the second 45 minutes of the match to make it 2-1.

Matias Tissera restored the Green and Whites outfit’s two-goal lead after 81 minutes with nine minutes to the end of the match.

The 25-year-old Ghana attacker played full throttle for his team as they won 3-1 to lift the Cup trophy.
