Dutch-born Ghanaian attacker Brian Brobbey was on target for AFC Ajax Amsterdam in their big clash against PSV Eindhoven this weekend.
The striker scored one of the two goals for the Red and Whites outfit as they suffered a humiliating 5-2 defeat to the UEFA Champions League side.
Branco Van den Boomen opened the scoring in the 10th minute of the match to put the visitors 1-0 up with a very fine goal.
Ten minutes later, Mexican international Hirving Lozano equalized for the home team but Brobbey restored Ajax’s one goal advantage as it ended 2-1 after the first 45 minutes of the match.
Luuk de Jong, Ismael Saibari and two goals from Hirving Lozano in the second 45 minutes of the match secured a comfortable home win for the home team.
The 21-year-old Ghanaian has three goals in seven games in the 2023-24 Dutch Eredivisie for Ajax.
