Ghanaian forward Charles-Jesaja Herrmann was on target for his club, Waldhof Mannheim’s 1-1 stalemate against Saarbrücken on Saturday afternoon in Germany.
The son of former Ghana captain and coach CK Akonnor came on in the 46th minute to replace Pascal Sohm.
His pile driver from outside of the box found the bottom left corner of the goal post to make it 1-0 to his team to announce his presence in the game.
Kai Brünker scored with a powerful header to equalize for Saarbrücken in the 88th minute mark to make the final score 1-1 with both teams settling for a point each.
