Ghanaian forward Christian Joe Conteh was on target twice for VFL Osnabrück in the German Bundesliga 2 on Sunday afternoon at home to FC Nürnberg.
He came from the bench to score a brace for the Brown and White outfit in their narrow 3-2 defeat at home in the German second tier league.
He found the back of the net for his team in the 86th minute with a fine goal to reduce the deficit to two when his team were trailing by three goals.
A minute to the end of the match, Conteh scored again for the home team but his goals proved to be insufficient for the hosts who succumbed to a 3-2 loss.
The 24-year-old German-born Ghanaian forward has two goals in three appearances this season in the league for his team.
