Ghanaian forward Cyril Edudzi continued his impressive run of form for Randers FC after finding the net in their entertaining 2-2 draw against FC Fredericia in the Danish SuperLiga on Thursday.

The game burst into life early on when Fredericia took the lead through Sofus Johannesen, putting the visitors ahead and silencing the home crowd.

Randers, however, showed resilience and gradually grew into the contest. Their efforts paid off in the 29th minute when John Bjorkengren rose highest to head home from a corner, restoring parity.

Fredericia responded almost immediately, regaining their advantage before halftime courtesy of an unfortunate own goal by Martin Sjolstad, leaving Randers trailing 1-2 at the break.

The second half could not have started any better for the hosts. Just a minute after the restart, Edudzi made his presence felt, calmly finishing from a well-delivered cross by Mathias Greve to level the score at 2-2.

His sharp movement and composure in front of goal underlined his growing importance to the team.

The Ghanaian striker’s goal marks back-to-back strikes in the league, following his earlier effort against Odense Boldklub, further highlighting his rising confidence.

Despite both sides pushing for a winner, neither could find the decisive goal, as the match ended in a pulsating stalemate.

Edudzi’s consistent scoring form will undoubtedly be a major boost for Randers as the season progresses.
