Belgian-Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Oppong has joined Slovakian topflight side KFC Komarno.
The 18-year-old inked a three-year deal to join the Super Liga side after leaving KAA Gent.
Oppong, who began his career at Club Brugge, is expected to continue his development in Komarno, where he will be playing for the first team.
“Emmanuel Oppong has joined our team. The 18-year-old winger started his football career at the world-renowned Club Brugge academy and then continued at KAA Gent academy. Emmanuel signed a three-year contract with our club. Welcome to our team, Emmanuel! Go to KFC!” posted the club, confirming his arrival.
The highly-rated teenager, who can play on both sides of the flanks, has already joined his new teammates and will be making his debut against Podbrezova on Sunday, September 13.
