Former Ghana youth international Emmanuel Toku delivered a stellar performance to help Buriram United secure a commanding 6-0 victory over Khon Kaen in the Thai FA Cup quarterfinals on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old attacker was the standout player at the Chang Arena, scoring a brace and showcasing his movement, speed, and clinical finishing in the final third. His contributions capped off a ruthless team display that saw Buriram dominate from start to finish.
The emphatic win confirms Buriram United’s place in the semifinals, underlining the club’s serious ambition to lift the trophy this season.
Toku, who joined the Thai giants on a short-term deal during the winter transfer window, has been making a steady impact. The former OH Leuven forward is contracted until June 2026 and has scored two goals and one assist in five appearances across all competitions.
Fellow Ghanaian Kingsley Schindler, recently called up to the Black Stars, also featured in the match for 65 minutes, contributing to Buriram’s attacking fluidity before being substituted.
With confidence high and momentum building, Buriram United now look ahead to the semifinals, buoyed by Toku’s impressive form and the team’s emphatic statement of intent.
