Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Toku opened his goal account for the 2023-24 season on Friday as Aalborg BK secured a 3-1 victory over Vendsyssel FF in the Danish First Division.
The match at the Nord Energi Arena witnessed a dynamic scoring sequence. Danish midfielder Carl Lange struck the opening goal for Vendsyssel FF in the 9th minute.
Aalborg BK responded with an equalizer in the 39th minute, courtesy of Oliver Ross, who was set up by Melker Widell.
After halftime, Aalborg BK extended their lead with a goal from Kenyan international Richard Odada.
Emmanuel Toku, who came on as a substitute in the 60th minute, sealed the victory for the visitors with a goal from the penalty spot in the 73rd minute.
Toku, who is on loan from OH Leuven in Belgium, provides Aalborg BK with the option to make his deal permanent.
