English-born Ghanaian forward Gideon Kodua has been named Luton Town’s Player of the Month for December 2025, capping a stellar month for the 21-year-old attacker.
Kodua, currently on loan from West Ham United, was rewarded for his consistent performances and vital contributions in the Championship during a busy festive period.
Since arriving at Kenilworth Road on a season-long loan, Kodua has quickly adapted to Luton Town’s setup, impressing head coach Rob Edwards with his pace, movement, and versatility across the frontline. December proved to be his standout month, with the forward directly involved in five goals—scoring three times and assisting twice over six league fixtures. His ability to stretch defences, create chances, and finish clinically made him a pivotal figure as Luton Town sought to climb the Championship table.
The young Ghanaian’s performances have not only boosted Luton’s attacking options but have also increased his stock within West Ham’s ranks, where the Hammers will be monitoring his progress closely. With Luton’s busy January schedule ahead, Kodua is expected to continue as a key figure in the Hatters’ bid to secure a higher spot in the Championship standings.
