Ghanaian forward Grejohn Kyei was on target for Clermont Foot FC in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday afternoon at home.
The former French youth player also provided an assist in his team’s 2-1 home win over AJ Auxerre in frenetic clash.
He set up Saif-Eddine Khaoui in the 55th minute after a goalless first 45 minutes of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up early in the second period of the match.
Three minutes later, the Ghanaian attacker scored the second goal of the match to make it 2-0 with a little over 30 minutes to play till the end of the match.
He was taken off by the manager seven minutes after the hour mark and the visitors grabbed a consolation goal inside 90 minutes to make it 2-1.
The 29-year-old Ghanaian forward has two goals and one assist in nine French Ligue 1 games this campaign.
