Ghanaian winger Ibrahim Osman made his debut for Brighton & Hove Albion in their pre-season match against Kashima Antlers in Japan. The 19-year-old forward joined the team on their tour of Tokyo, where they are set to play two fixtures.

Osman was included in the starting lineup for the game on Wednesday morning, which saw the Premier League team defeat their opponents 5-1.

Gambian forward Yankuba Minteh scored the opener in the 15th minute, giving Brighton a lead going into halftime. After the break, the entire squad was substituted.

Jeremy Sarmiento and Yasin Ayari scored two rapid goals in the second half, followed by Amario Cozier-Duberry, who netted twice more to make it 5-0. Homare Tokuda scored a late goal for Kashima Antlers, providing a consolation for the hosts.

Brighton’s pre-season tour will continue as they prepare for their next match against Tokyo Verde.
