English Premier League side Crystal Palace FC forward Jordan Ayew is confident his team will perform better than they did on Tuesday against Manchester United this Saturday at Old Trafford.
The Ghana International is full of believe that the Red and Blue Eagles will use the EFL Cup defeat against same opponent as motivation to secure a win in Saturday’s Premier League clash at the same stadium.
According to him, though United were a better team than them in the game on Tuesday, Saturday’s clash will be a different ball game.
“We know they were just better than us tonight and we just need to go back home, recover and get ready for Saturday, because Saturday’s going to be a different game.
“I think this game has given us more desire and more will to win on Saturday,” he stated after the defeat.
Ayew was the captain for Palace in their 3-0 thrashing by the Red Devils as they were kicked out of the EFL Cup last Tuesday.
