Ghanaian winger Kamal Sowah, who spent three years with Leicester City’s U21 youth team, continues to harbor aspirations of playing in the English Premier League.
Currently on loan at Standard Liege in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League from his parent club Club Brugge, the 23-year-old is enjoying a more successful season compared to the previous one, reigniting speculation about a potential move to the English top-flight.
In response to questions about his desire to return to English football, Sowah affirmed his ambition, saying, “Don’t all Africans, all Ghanaians do it? And yes, I still believe I have it in me. Otherwise I would have stopped playing football already,” in an interview with De Zondag.
Sowah has impressed with 2 goals in 5 league appearances for Standard Liege in the ongoing 2023/24 Pro League campaign.
