Ghanaian youngster Kelvin Boateng was on the scoresheet for First Vienna in their first game after the October international break.
Boateng started Vienna’s game against Ried away from home on Friday evening in the Austria Liga 2 as they ended up on the losing side.
The 23-year-old scored the equaliser in the game after David Bumberger had given the home side the lead inside the first two minutes of the encounter. The Ghanaian finished off a move with an assist from Thomas Kreuzhuber to ensure his side went into the first-half break at 1-1.
However, Ried scored three more goals in the second half of the game to claim all three points to condemn Vienna to defeat.
For Boateng, it’s two goals and one assist in his last three appearances for the club.
