Kwame Karikari, a former Ghana Premier League striker, showcased his prowess in the Serbian Prva Liga, securing a triumphant 3-1 victory for Jedinstvo against Graficar Beograd.
Joining Jedinstvo for the 2022/23 season after his stint with Dreams FC in the Ghanaian league, the 21-year-old striker delivered a stellar second-half performance.
Karikari, formerly with Liberty Professionals, leveled the score with a precise strike in the 56th minute and later propelled his team to victory with another goal in the 73rd minute. With a total of 7 goals in just 4 games this season, his goal-scoring prowess has been remarkable.
His outstanding contributions were recognized at the end of the 2022/23 season when he was crowned the best foreign player in the league. This accolade was well-deserved, considering his impressive record of 13 goals in 11 games during that season.
