Ghanaian attacker Kwame Poku Adubofour says he is getting used to the playing style at Championship side Queens Park Rangers.
Poku, 23, scored 12 goals and provided 8 assists in 27 League 1 games for Peterborough in the 2024/25 season before joining QPR last month.
He admitted he is already catching up in training as he hopes to give his best in Queens Park Rangers’ quest to secure EPL qualification.
“I’m getting there. Over the past week I’ve shown good levels of fitness, so I think, give it two weeks, I’ll be ready for the start of the season,” he told his club’s website
Queens Park Rangers will host Preston North End on August 9 in the opening day of the 2025/26 English Championship, and the Ghanaian talent says he can not wait to get started.
“Playing the first game at home is always a dream,” he said. “You don’t want to be trekking far away for the first game of the season.”
“It’ll be great to build relationships with the fans, so I’m really looking forward to it.” Poku added
He also previously played for Clay Wanderers, Worthing and Colchester
