Ghanaian forward Moritz Broni Kwarteng scored his ninth goal of the season for FC Magdeburg in the German Bundesliga 2 on Saturday afternoon on the road.
The 24-year-old Ghanaian forward played an hour of football for his team as they won 2-1 at Eintracht Braunschweig in Germany second tier league.
He sscored the opening goal of the match halfway through the opening 45 minutes of the match to put the Blue and Whites outfit in a deserved 1-0 lead.
Tatsuya Ito added to the advantage of the visitors in the second half of the match to put them in a 2-0 lead when he struck on the 62nd minute mark.
Anthony Ujah scored a consolation goal for the home team as the game ended 2-1 to Broni Kwarteng’s Magdeburg.
The 24-year-old Ghanaian forward has nine goals and two assists in the 2022-23 Germany Bundesliga 2 after playing 27 matches.
