Ghanaian forward Nathan Opoku was on the field as OH Leuven faced a defeat against RWD Molenbeek in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League on Saturday.
The dynamic attacker was a part of the starting lineup and played the entire match for Leuven in their 2-1 loss to the newly promoted team on their home ground.
Opoku made a notable impact for his team despite the defeat at the King Power at Den Dreef Stadion.
The 22-year-old was involved in the build-up that led to Richie Sagrado scoring the opening goal for the home side just 17 minutes into the game. However, Mickael Biron equalized for the visitors two minutes before halftime, making it 1-1.
Mickael Biron then secured his second goal of the match from a penalty early in the second half, giving Molenbeek a lead they maintained until the final whistle.
Without any further goals, the visitors secured a victory and claimed all three points in the second-week fixture.
