Ghana forward Nathan Opoku showed off his amazing skills in a big game in Belgium. He scored his first goal for Oud-Hervelee Leuven in the Europe play-offs.
But sadly, his team lost 3-2 to KV Mechelen at their home stadium, King Power den Dreef.
Opoku came into the game in the 68th minute when his team was losing 2-0. He made a big impact, and his goal in injury time seemed like it would secure a draw for his team. But then, KV Mechelen scored again just a minute later.
Opoku’s energy helped his team fight back, and another player, Youssef Maziz, also scored a goal after Opoku came in. This shows how good Opoku is, even though he didn’t get to play much during the regular season.
Now, with the transfer window coming up, nobody knows what will happen to Opoku. He’s on loan from Leicester City, and he might go back there or stay with Leuven.
