Ghanaian forward Raymond Asante enjoyed a memorable start to life at Patro Eisden, scoring on his debut in an entertaining 4–4 draw against Genk U23 in the Challenger Pro League.

The 21-year-old second striker, who recently joined the club from Charleroi, made an instant impression by finding the net and helping his new side to a share of the spoils in a high-scoring contest. Asante struck the team’s second goal of the match, showing composure in front of goal to announce his arrival in style.

The game turned into an end-to-end encounter, with both sides trading goals in a thrilling battle that kept fans on the edge of their seats. Despite Patro Eisden’s attacking display, they were ultimately forced to settle for a point in a match that produced eight goals.

For Asante, the goal represents a promising beginning at his new club and a boost to his confidence as he looks to establish himself in the team. His immediate impact suggests he could play a key role in Patro Eisden’s attacking setup as the season progresses.
