Ghanaian striker Sadat Karim is delighted to have scored for Apollon Smyrnis in their 3-1 home win over Episkopi Rethymno in in the Greek Super League 2.
The 31-year-old was again at his quality best with a brilliant strike for the Greek club.
Maximiliano Cuadra shot Apollon Smyrnis in the 23rd minute but Antonis Stathopoulos equalized in the 32nd minute as both teams went to the break with a 1-1 scoreline.
Back from recess, the former Hearts of Oak striker scored to restore Apollon Smyrnis lead in the 58th minute.
Two minutes to regulation time, Greek defender Vangelis Theocharis scored to seal victory for the host.
“Alhamdulillah. Happy to get a Goal and more importantly a win today” he tweeted.
Sadat Karim has two goals from 11 games in the Greek Super League 2 this season.
