Ghanaian young talent Ibrahim Sadiq has marked his debut for AZ Alkmaar following his move from BK Hacken in the recent transfer window.
Sadiq made the transition from the Swedish giants to the Dutch outfit after impressing during his time in Sweden.
In his first appearance for AZ Alkmaar, the 23-year-old came off the bench in the 72nd minute, replacing Mayckel Lahdo.
AZ Alkmaar secured a comfortable victory against Sparta Rotterdam, with goals from Dani De Wit and Vangelis Pavlidis, both scored within a minute during the match.
Sadiq, a product of the Right to Dream Academy, is expected to play a significant role for AZ Alkmaar as they aim for success in domestic and European competitions.
During the same match, Dutch-born Ghanaian player Ernest Poku was also introduced in the second half.
