Ghanaian forward Seidu Bassit, played his first game in the Moldovan league for Petrocub.
He came onto the field in the second half of Petrocub’s match against Balti. Bassit used to play for Accra Lions before joining Petrocub on loan from Al Hilal, a team in Sudan.
Before the league started, Bassit trained with the team and played in some practice matches. On Saturday, he substituted Srgiu Platica during Petrocub’s impressive 5-0 win at home. Maxim Petroniche scored first, followed by Vladimir Amros just before halftime.
In the second half, Amros scored again and then set up Ion Jordan for another goal. Dan Puscas sealed the win with a late goal in extra time. Bassit aims to make a big impact at Petrocub, and if he does well, the club might keep him after the loan ends.
