Ghanaian goalkeeper, Lawrence Ati-Zigi is in the Switzerland Cup finals for a second year running after finishing second last season.
Ati-Zigi and his colleagues loss to FC Luzern last year as they were beaten 3-1 at the end of the match to lose out on a trophy after doing so well the season in question.
On Thursday evening, St Gallen beat Yverdon Sport 2-0 to set up a final against FC Lugano on May 15, 2022.
The Ghanaian, who’s the first choice goalkeeper for the Green and Whites outfit was on the bench for the second goalkeeper who has barely played any games this season.
Ati-Zigi and his colleagues will be hoping for the trophy this time around after suffering defeat in the previous final the played last season.
As the number one goalie for the club, the Ghanaian international is expected to be in goal on May 15th when his team face Lugano in the final.
