Ghanaian goalkeeper Paul Reverson has joined Dutch Eerste Divisie side De Graafschap on a season-long loan from Ajax.
The 21-year-old shot-stopper will spend the 2026/27 campaign with the Dutch second-tier club as he looks to gain valuable first-team experience and continue his development away from Ajax.
Reverson has progressed through the Ajax setup and has already featured for the club’s U20 side, gaining experience at youth level while developing within one of Europe’s most renowned football academies.
The loan move to De Graafschap represents an important opportunity for the young goalkeeper to take the next step in his career. Regular senior football will provide Reverson with valuable exposure to the demands of competitive professional football, while also allowing him to build confidence and experience between the posts.
His progress has also attracted attention from Ghana’s national team setup.
Reverson was among the goalkeepers called up to Ghana’s pre-World Cup camp, underlining his growing profile and the potential he possesses at international level.
Now, his immediate focus will be on making an impact in the Netherlands.
With a full season ahead of him at De Graafschap, Reverson will be aiming to establish himself, gain consistent playing experience and return to Ajax as a more experienced goalkeeper.
