Ghanaian left-back Gideon Mensah has suffered relegation from the French Ligue 1 with his team FC Girondins Bordeaux on Saturday evening in the last game of the season.
The Ghanaian international joined the club on loan from Austrian giant Red Bull Salzburg and could not help his side secure top-flight Football for next season.
He was not part of the team that beat Brest on the final day away from, a result that couldn’t prevent the Mauve and White team from going down to the Ligue 2.
The 23-year-old Ghanaian played 23 Ligue 1 games this season for Bordeaux and provided two assists for the club as they finished on the league log at the end of the season.
