As Alfred Duncan’s contract with Serie A club Fiorentina approaches its expiration next month, several clubs are reportedly eyeing the experienced Ghanaian midfielder.
Despite Fiorentina holding an option to extend his contract until 2025, they have yet to show interest in exercising this clause.
Throughout the current season, Duncan, aged 31, has been instrumental for the club, featuring in 28 Serie A matches, scoring two goals, and providing five assists. Additionally, he has made 10 appearances in other competitions including the UEFA Europa Conference League, Supercoppa Italiana, and the Italy Cup.
Joining AFC Fiorentina in 2020 from fellow Serie A side Sassuolo, Duncan initially went on loan before establishing himself as a vital player for the team.
As Fiorentina prepares to face Greek side Olympiacos Piraeus at the end of May at the OPAPA Arena in Athens, Duncan remains a strong contender for a spot in the starting lineup.
