Spanish Primera Federación side CD Arenteiro have completed the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Awuley Abdul Rahman ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The former Legon Cities player has put pen to paper on a deal with the Spanish club after spending the past few years building his career across Spain’s lower divisions.
Awuley joins Arenteiro from CD Cabecense, where he continued to showcase his versatility and defensive qualities. Comfortable in midfield and capable of operating in central defence, the Ghanaian is expected to provide valuable depth and flexibility to the squad.
Announcing the signing, CD Arenteiro highlighted the attributes that convinced the club to secure his services.
“From Ghana to Spanish football, Awuley Abdul has built a career marked by adaptation and versatility. His physical presence, ability to compete in duels, work without the ball and dominance in the air define his profile,” the club said.
The move marks another step forward in Awuley’s career as he prepares for a fresh challenge in the Primera Federación. With his experience in Spanish football, the Ghanaian will be aiming to establish himself as a key figure in Arenteiro’s squad and help the club achieve its objectives in the new campaign.
