Ghanaian youngster Baba Alhassan has gained promotion to the Romanian top-flight with FC Hermannstadt.
The 22-year old moved to Hermannstadt in October 2020 on a three-year deal and has been a key contributor for manager Marius Măldărășanu’s side with some impressive performances. Baba had previously worked with Marius Măldărășanu at Real Valladolid.
Petrolul FC qualified to the Romanian Premier league alongside FC Hermannstadt with 63 and and 61 points respectively.

The Ghanaian prospect scored 7 goals in 27 matches during the 2021/22 campaign to ensure that Hermannstadt who suffered relegation in the 2019/2020 season returned to the elite division.
