Ghanaian central midfielder Baba Alhassan was on the score sheet in Hermannstadt FC preseason game as they defeated FC Zira by two goals to one.
Alhassan who was a revelation in the midfield of Hermannstadt FC last season netted seven goals in 27 games as they secured promotion to the topflight has started from where he left off last season with superb performances in the three preseason games his side has played.
He is expected to play a key role in the coming season as Hermannstadt hopes to make a big impact for the “Red and blacks” in the Romanian Liga 1.
Alhassan, 22, previously played for Real Valladolid in Spain before moving to Romania in 2020.
