Ghanaian midfielder Bernard Mensah delivered a stunning performance for Al Taee, scoring a remarkable hat-trick in a thrilling match against Al Ettifaq on matchday 7 of the Saudi Pro League. However, his efforts couldn’t prevent his team from suffering a painful 4-3 defeat.
The 28-year-old started the game and displayed exceptional skills throughout the match, playing the full 90 minutes. Despite his outstanding performance, Al Tai couldn’t secure the victory they hoped for.
The host, Al Ettifaq, got off to a quick start with Gigi Wijnaldum scoring just two minutes into the game, eventually netting a brace alongside Moussa Dembele to secure the win for their side.
In response, Bernard Mensah scored his first goal in a one-on-one situation in the 10th minute, followed by another goal in the 36th minute. He completed his impressive hat-trick in the second half.
After the conclusion of the seventh round of matches, Al Tai currently occupies the 10th position on the league table with seven points from seven matches.
