Ghanaian defensive midfielder Bismark Mensah has completed a move to Romanian club CS Drobeta from newly promoted Ghana Premier League side Port City FC.
The 20-year-old has signed for the Romanian Liga 4 outfit as he begins a new chapter in his career abroad.
Mensah played a key role in Port City’s promotion campaign, earning recognition for his work rate, physical strength and ability to link the defensive and attacking phases of the game.
CS Drobeta described the Ghanaian as a dynamic midfielder capable of winning possession quickly while providing balance and energy in the middle of the pitch.
“Determination, positive aggression and the ability to quickly regain possession are qualities that recommend him and can make a difference in the economy of the game,” the club said in announcing his arrival.
Mensah becomes the second Ghanaian to join CS Drobeta, following the arrival of compatriot Eric Tibu.
The young midfielder will now look to continue his development in Romanian football after helping Port City secure promotion to Ghana’s top flight.
