Ghanaian midfielder Clement Ansah has secured a move to Slovakian top-flight outfit FC DAC 1904 Dunajská Streda ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The 20-year-old joins the Yellow and Blue on a two-year contract with an option for a further year, following the expiration of his deal with North Macedonian club KF Shkupi.
Ansah first rose to prominence at Bofoakwa Tano, where he played a pivotal role in the club’s promotion to the Ghana Premier League during the 2023/24 campaign, registering one assist in 13 appearances. After Bofoakwa’s relegation, he pursued opportunities abroad, sealing a switch to Shkupi in November 2024.
His spell in Macedonia included a brief loan stint at Turkish second-tier side Çorum FK before returning to Shkupi, where he established himself as a reliable performer. In total, he featured 27 times in the Macedonian First Football League, scoring twice and providing four assists.
Despite his steady rise at club level, Ansah is yet to represent Ghana at any level. However, his move to Slovakia offers a larger platform to showcase his ability and push for a possible national team call-up.
FC DAC 1904 are optimistic that the Ghanaian’s energy, vision, and creativity in midfield will strengthen their squad as they prepare to mount a serious challenge for silverware in the Fortuna Liga.
