Ghanaian midfielder Clement Ansah has completed a move to Slovak top-flight club AS Trenčín on a one-year contract with an option to extend.
The 21-year-old returns to Slovakia after previously featuring for DAC 1904 Dunajská Streda, where he gained valuable experience in the Slovak football system.
Ansah began his European journey with FC Shkupi in North Macedonia before moving to Slovakia, where his performances helped attract further interest from clubs in the country’s top division.
Primarily a central midfielder, Ansah is regarded as a technically gifted player capable of contributing both defensively and offensively. His energy, ball retention and ability to link play make him a useful addition to Trenčín’s midfield.
His move to AS Trenčín provides the young Ghanaian with another opportunity to establish himself in European football and gain regular first-team experience at the highest level in Slovakia.
The one-year agreement, which includes an option for an extension, gives Ansah the chance to impress and potentially secure a longer-term future with the club.
