Ghanaian midfielder David Abagna recently made a move to Moldovan club FC Petrocub Hincesti. Previously a captain at Real Tamale United, Abagna secured a loan deal from Al Hilal in Sudan for the remainder of the season.

Abagna wasted no time getting into action, making his debut during Petrocub’s dominant 5-0 victory over Balti in the Moldovan topflight league. He substituted Corneliu Cotogoi in the second half of the match.

The club shared the news of Abagna’s arrival, highlighting his role as a central midfielder and his four appearances for Ghana’s national team. Born on September 9, 1998, Abagna is anticipated to be a crucial player for Petrocub under the leadership of Nana Yaw Amponsah as they aim for success in the league.

Adding to the Ghanaian contingent at Petrocub, Abagna joins teammates Razak Abalora and Seidu Bassit.
