Ghanaian midfielder Dixon Mohammed has sealed a loan move to Israeli second-tier side Hapoel Afula.
The 18-year-old joins Hapoel Afula from giants Maccabi Haifa for the 2026/27 campaign.
Mohammed is expected to gain more game time as he continues his development in the Israeli league.
“Welcome Dixon! The 18-year-old midfielder signed with the club on loan from Maccabi Haifa through Stari Player Agency. Dixon Mohammed, brother of Maccabi Haifa star Ali Mohammed, is considered a great potential who we believe will show his abilities with us. Good luck Dixon,” posted the club.
The teen sensation moved to Israel this summer, with hopes of following the footsteps of his senior brother, Ali Mohammed, who is an established name as Maccabi Haifa.
Mohammed could make his debut against Maccabi Bnei Reineh on Thursday, September 10, in the Israeli Liga Leumit.
