Ghanaian midfielder Ebenezer Ofori has completed a move to Lithuanian top-flight side FK Žalgiris after leaving Danish Superliga club Vejle Boldklub during the winter transfer window.
The 29-year-old joins the reigning A Lyga champions on a free transfer, with the club confirming his arrival on their official website.
“Lithuanian champion Žalgiris added another newcomer to its ranks during the international break – a contract was signed with experienced Ghanaian midfielder Ebenezer Ofori.”
“The 29-year-old player has accumulated solid experience—he has represented the Ghana men’s national team and competed in the US, German, Swedish, and Danish championships.”
Ofori, a former VfB Stuttgart and AIK midfielder, parted ways with Vejle after struggling for form this season. His move to Žalgiris offers him a fresh start as he looks to make an impact in the Lithuanian top division.
The former Ghana U20 star, who has earned nine caps for the Black Stars and scored once, will be eager to help his new club defend their league title in the 2025-26 season.
