Ghanaian midfielder Eugene Frimpong has completed a move to Greek Super League side Kalamata FC as he continues his professional journey in Europe.
The 23-year-old versatile midfielder joins the Greek club after gaining valuable experience in Spanish football, where he developed through the youth ranks of Real Valladolid before featuring for Zamora and SD Ponferradina.
A left-footed player capable of operating in both central midfield and attacking midfield roles, Frimpong is expected to add creativity, technical quality and versatility to Kalamata’s squad ahead of the new season.
His time in Spain helped him develop a strong tactical understanding and experience competing in a demanding European football environment.
The move to Greece represents another important step in Frimpong’s career as he looks to establish himself at a higher level and continue his progression in European football.
Kalamata will be hoping the Ghanaian midfielder’s energy, passing ability and attacking contribution can strengthen their squad as they prepare for the upcoming campaign.
