Ghanaian enforcer Hiram Boateng is hoping to make it big at League 2 club Mansfield FC.
Boateng, 26, joins the fourth tier club on Wednesday as a free agent after leaving League 1 outfit MK Dons.
The talented central midfielder is expected to use his huge experience to help the club realize their dream of securing League 1 promotion.
“I’m delighted to be here and I can’t wait to get going.” Boateng emphasized.
“Now is a good time in my career to do this.”
“I have obviously got a bit older now and have more experience under my belt. I know what it takes to get out of this division, which can be a sticky one to get out of at times.”
“So hopefully my knowledge and experience will bring a calming presence to the side.” He added.
Boateng previously played for Crystal Palace as well as Cambridge United.
