Scottish Premier League side, Dundee United has secured the loan signing of 21-year-old Ghanaian midfielder Malachi Boateng from Crystal Palace, an English Premier League side.
Boateng’s loan deal with Dundee United will extend until June 2024, granting him a full season to showcase his talent in Scotland. This marks his second consecutive loan spell in the country, following a successful stint at Queens Park last season.
During his time with Queens Park, Boateng demonstrated his prowess on the field, impressively making 41 appearances and scoring three goals.
Now, as he joins Dundee United, the young midfielder is expected to play a vital role in their upcoming campaign.
Boateng initially joined Crystal Palace as a youth player at the age of 11 and later signed his first professional contract with the club in October 2019. He earned the U18 Player of the Season award in the preceding season, showcasing his immense potential.
In the 2021-22 season, Boateng made 20 appearances for the Crystal Palace U23s and participated in three more matches in the Papa John’s Trophy.
