Ghanaian midfielder Michael Baidoo was a star performer for Elfsborg in their convincing 3-0 victory over Brommapojkarna in the Swedish Allsvenskan on Saturday.
Baidoo’s all-around performance included both a goal and an assist, significantly contributing to Elfsborg’s dominant win at the Borås Arena. He played for 85 minutes alongside fellow Ghanaian defender Terry Yegbe, who played the entire match.
Elfsborg opened the scoring in the 30th minute with a goal by Simon Hedlund, assisted by Baidoo. Baidoo then got on the scoresheet himself in the 82nd minute with a well-placed shot. Elfsborg added another goal in the 87th minute through Eggert Gudmundsson to seal the comfortable win.
This impressive performance continues Baidoo’s strong season for Elfsborg. In 13 Allsvenskan games this year, he has already notched 5 goals and 4 assists.
