Ghanaian midfielder Patrick Arthur has successfully completed a transfer to Bahraini club Etehad Al Reef FC on a short-term basis.
The 26-year-old defensive midfielder has joined the Dar Kulaib-based team on a free transfer, following his departure from Filipino side Kaya FC-Iloilo in February of this year.
Arthur’s journey took him to the Philippines in April 2022, where he contributed to Kaya’s achievement of their very first league title at the conclusion of the 2023-24 season.
His professional career commenced with Ghanaian club Heart of Lions before he made the move to Dreams FC, where he played from 2018 to 2020.
Subsequently, Arthur embarked on a loan spell with Swedish outfit Ängelholms FF, making eight appearances in the Ettan Södra league.
He also had a stint with Tunisian top-flight club Stade Tunisien between January 2021 and July 2021, following the expiration of his contract with Dreams FC.
